I wish I could help, but I was never *that* into Buffy. Still - interesting idea for a paper! And I'm almost done re-watching season 2. Man, I love Spike more than ever - and he was always my favorite. Brooding Angel is so much better than Angelus, too. And Xander pretty much = Wash, great lines-wise.
